Secondary Scholarships

Each year Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School offers a number of Scholarships for students entering Years 7 to 11. Our Secondary School Scholarship program is designed to acknowledge academic excellence and to support the diversity of abilities, talents, interests and backgrounds within our community. We aim to recognise students who will make a positive contribution to the Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School community.

For students required to sit the Scholarship Test, please note, there is a $125 fee to sit the Scholarship Test, which is paid online when you complete the application. Please see the below for details of the Scholarships and the criteria.

Students can apply for more than one Scholarship, but will normally only be awarded one Scholarship. All Scholarships are for remission of 20% to 50% of the Tuition or Boarding fee only, as applicable. The award of a Scholarship is at the discretion of the Head of School and not all scholarships may be awarded each year.

The 2025 Scholarship Test will take place Saturday, 22 March 2025. The test is held at the School and all students who apply for the Academic, Boarding, Doris Trevena and Old Grammarians Scholarships are required to sit the test. If your child is not able to attend in person, you need to apply as a remote application.
