Sense of Home

Boarding at Grammar is unique in many ways. We truly celebrate the vibrant atmosphere created by our diverse group of Boarders.

Under the thoughtful student leadership of David Nelson-Palmer and Chelsea Roddy, we’ve continued to build upon our warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels at home. Whether it be sharing stories and singing songs around the fire, special trips to Perth, the beach, or just getting involved in one of our after-school clubs, the range and number of activities available is so good for our Boarders.

I thank all the Boarding staff for going above and beyond to make sure these opportunities can happen. I take great pride in watching the genuinely positive interactions between all members of our Boarding community. In my humble opinion, the single most important aspect for a successful outcome at any school is positive relationships. This sense of belonging and engagement makes our community special, enriching our lives and building lasting friendships.

Finally, good luck and best wishes to our departed Year 12 Boarders. The immediate future for you is exciting as you begin to steer your own direction. Stay safe and keep in touch and remember you are always welcome back to visit.
