Health and nutrition
As a Boarding School in Western Australia that has been offering co-ed boarding since 1972, we know the importance that food plays in the daily life of Boarding school students! Boarding school food has sometimes had the reputation for not being anywhere near as great at mum’s cooking! At Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School, we employ our own chef’s and cooks so all meals are prepared and cooked on site each day. Boarding students, through the Boarding Student Executive can also provide feedback on the quality of meals and input into events such as themed nights. All students are expected to start the day with breakfast in the Boarding Cafe, and as we employ our own staff, we are able to cater for special dietary needs. The below is a sample of the weekly menu on offer for Boarding School students at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School.
