It was good to be back at the South West Sports Centre again, as this meant more time for more divisions of races as well as more novelty events. There was also a lot of support from parents who came to watch and I know that this was appreciated by our students.
After a taste of victory last year, Goldsmith House continued their winning ways, finishing top in the end after a very close contest with Redding which came down to the last few relays. It was also a close contest in many of the age groups for champions and runners up, with two tied results this year. Congratulations to all who represented their House and especially those brave swimmers who stepped outside their comfort zone to fill in for absent swimmers, or swam the 100m butterfly for the very first time!
The House totals, individual medal winners and record breakers are listed below.
House Totals
1st – Goldsmith – 2,277 points
2nd – Redding – 2,247.50 points
