Interhouse Cross Country 2024

The running of the Interhouse Cross Country race eventually occurred in ideal weather last Friday after a delay due to lightning the day prior. The finishing places of runners from Primary and Secondary Schools are used to calculate the winning House, with Goldsmith being victorious this year. Goldsmith also had the highest percentage of students participating on the day.

Congratulations to all of the students who ran this year. Over 80% participation is a great effort! Many thanks to the teachers who ran, adding to the positive atmosphere of the afternoon as well as to those who adjusted lesson plans to accommodate the event. Thank you also to our wonderful support staff who worked so hard behind the scenes to make things work as well as the many parents and grandparents who came along to watch.

The final placings of the Houses were as follows.

1st Goldsmith

2nd Knight

3rd Redding

4th Wilson

Outstanding individual runs by students earned them Champion or Runner Up places that were presented on the day.
