Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School was the first Anglican, co-educational day and boarding school for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 to open in regional Australia. Our School was opened to provide children of the South West with access to a high-quality education, close to home.
Since its beginnings, the School has provided scholarships to students who would not otherwise be able to benefit from an education at our School. The Equity Scholarship is for students whose families can demonstrate proof of financial need to be able to attend the School.
Student selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated regular attendance at current School
- Aspirations to pursue further education, be that through university or vocational pathways
- Commitment to participate fully in School life
Family Criteria
- Be able to demonstrate financial hardship or need. This assessment will be completed by EdStart, an independent organisation that supports families to improve access to learning. A summary of the assessment will be provided to the Head of School and Chief Financial Officer only.
How to apply
Applicants are required to complete the below application form and submit the following documentation
- Copy of 2024 Full Year School Reports
- Birth Certificate
- Reference from current School outlining students’ willingness to achieve
Note that applications will not be deemed complete until ALL documentation has been submitted.
Interview and Selection
Students who have been shortlisted will be invited to a panel interview with the Head of School, Head of Secondary and Director of Students. Parents will be invited to meet with the Chief Financial Officer at the same time.
